Due to increase demand on Adam's services he has decided to expand his business. Wholistic Therapies Pty Ltd will be found in two locations, the original Home Office in Princes Street Putney and the new Professional Rooms in Meadowbank. The map above will highlight the relative positions each to the other.

The intention in moving is to allow Adam the freedom to take on a Colleague to help him with the workload. He personally trained a new graduate in his Wholistic Techniques and style of practice. In passing on his knowledge and technique to a younger colleague he can be sure, you (his clients) will continue to receive the highest standard of treatment you have experienced up to date at his clinic.

Adam will concentrate on the diagnostic side of the practice, and specialize in the Naturopathic approach, including Herbal Medicine, Homoeopathy, Neuro-Emotional Therapy (NET) and Cranial Osteopathy. While his colleague will concentrate on the Physical Therapies like Deep Tissue Massage, Visceral Release Techniques , Spinal Adjustments and Applied Kinesiology.

bulletLocal Chiropractor at Brain Seminar

In November Dr. Adam Nichols attended a conference at the Sheraton Towers in Melbourne on the cranium. The ‘90’s was the decade of the brain and the conference was a synthesis of new information collected over the last decade on the brain and the practical applications for chiropractors and dentists.

Presentations for the 100 international delegates at the symposium came from chiropractors, internationally and homegrown, dentists, neurologists, researchers and radiologists.

Many chiropractors and dentists are now working together to improve the function of the skull, as skull motion affects the function of the brain and both orthodontic work and chiropractic adjustments affect the way the skull works.

Dr. Adam Nichols was given practical demonstrations on how to diagnose and correct cranial (skull) dysfunction. Demonstrations on how to create more useful treatment outcomes for their patients, and the importance of correcting cranial and spinal problems in children before they are fully developed was a big emphasis. "As the twig is bent so grows the tree". The importance of correct face bone development and the effect that abnormal skull development has on bite and brain function was explored in depth. How to diagnose whether the problem is predominantly chiropractic or orthodontic gives Dr. Nichols a greater insight on when co-management produces faster patient outcomes.

Dr. Nichols was given presentations on the use of different tools in radiology such as X-Rays, MRI’s, cat scans and the explanations of the use of these different tools for diagnosing specific conditions. Recent research that was presented and was financed by the Sacro Occipital Technique Organization is bringing us one step closer to understanding the origins of impulses emanating from the brain.

Dr. Charles Blum an international presenter said that "Aside from Australia being a beautiful and gracious country, its doctors and level of professional expertise in seminar (s) . . . set new standards for the world . . . ".
